I personally dislike the looks of rolled-up trouser sleeves, paninaro style. Utterly disgusting Hoxton roundabout fashion trend.
I am also overly annoyed with integration.
I DO NOT want my corkscrew to engage with my toothbrush or other random shit to tell everybody in FB that I am taking a dump while listening THAT song on my i-turd. If the world is into exhibitionism, good for the world... but not everything is shareable or interesting.Tittle abuse / role misinterpretation.
I HATE that now every fucking illustrator/artist believes he/she can do editorial/design work. Thank you very fucking much.
Also designers are not automatically entitled to call themselves art directors if they direct nothing. And lastly, allow me to say that not every single developer in the world can be a project manager (though they are usually good making bloody Gantt charts). If people would stick to what they are good at, our lives would be easier.
Lastly, my all times baddy: Shit copy everywhere.
we all agree that people do not read, but I guess people got used to read meaningless stuff. Best example: the client who wants to add a page to see the title somewhere on the navigation but actually has no fucking idea what to put in there.2011 please bring us new shit to complain about.

That tiresome Olly Moss shit where you take a popular TV show or film or game whatever and then do a wankey minimalist poster about it then everyone collectively jizzes all over it and claims it's actually clever when really it's just pandering lowest common denominator bullshit that would fail as an actual movie poster.
"Creatives" who's entire job is just ripping shit off YouTube
Social Media Experts and marketing. Laughable bullshit from chancers who don't know the first thing about the internet.
Flash developers whining because they are left out of the App Store party when they were hoping to just shit out slow clunky crap in their downtime and make $$$
Working with a PR company between you and the client, with said PR company actually trying to influence design decisions... usually in a completely retarded way that the client isn't going to like when we finally get to show them.
Mozilla Firefox, fuck that stupid program.
- PR = either hell, or smart people... I once worked with an AD he called PR Pubic Cystsvaxorcist

Designers still using Apple products to screen their designs, that "authentic" style, Gotham&lookalike typefaces, web designers hatin' Flash, social networks (will Apple buy Facebook in 2011?!) and the whole social media frenzy, "disco" design (triangles, galaxies, stars, 3d shapes and that hipster crap - forms without function), big fucking type (h1 titles half the screen with 2 more liiiiiiitle paragraphs calling that web design?! pleease!), crappy wordpress sites&themes (actually there are maybe 10-20 WP designs in the wild and for each of those something like 1 million alternatives in 10000 colors with different buttons, but the main layouts are the same!), designers calling themselves "gurus" or "ninjas" - come on people, design is thinking, so in 2011 let's see more thinking and doing and less pretending to be designers :)

"Content is the new creative."
I'd like to see/hear less of this horse shit. What does it really mean, anyway? That there was a time in recent memory when "creative" (call it design, advertising, visual communication, or hot garbage – just please don't turn adjectives into nouns) was devoid of content? Nevermind the quality of content. But without any discernable message, visual communication is abstract art, junk, or something in between.
I think this is nothing but marketing bullshit that is fed by social media sheisters who (mistakenly) think design is pointless in the age of Facebook.

Not really specific to 2010, or even really a design trend, but nothing pisses me off more than copywriters or PR people capitalizing unnecessary words.
