I have such a love/hate relationship with the show. Some parts are really good, but overall it just seems like they are trying to produce this as lazily and cheaply as possible. I'd love to see what someone like HBO would do with this concept.

I made the mistake of trying to watch this after watching the first few episode of S02 - House of Cards. Big mistake. I've always contended that the real star of Walking Dead is the universe that they created. They did a great job with the look and feel of a zombie apocalypse. The writing is just so bad, and I don't care who lives or dies anymore. Still, I find myself watching every damn week. I wish I could cut the cord.

That's true. We have so little attachment to the characters, they could all die... That's a sign of bad writing.
Also, the story evolve so slowly..
Last week when they tried to show us that maybe Rick is dead on the couch... that was so lame!
Is the graphic novel that boring or they just messed it up real bad for the tv?
