Anyone here use Flow bindings?
I'm trying to put together a new kit for a buddy of mine but the only time I tried them was when they first came out and were heavy as shit. Have they improved at all?

Had an awesome day today about 3 hours from Chicago at a place called Chestnut Mt. Pretty nice terrain park, good progression features and the day started out perfect - blue skies, sun, mid 30s and not that many people there. (I've got the week off of work).
Question for some of you: How many of you 30+ boarders are able to slide rails and boxes and how long did it take you to work up to that? I'm gradually progressing to more narrow rails, and it's fun, but I have to say, thank God for padded protective pants (thermals with knee, hip, groin and tailbone pads) and wrist guards and a helmet. That shit is saving my life. I fell a couple times today and hit my head and somewhat hard-packed snow and just thought "damn, best thing I could have bought this year." I did fall pretty hard today on the approach to a narrow down-rail. I was about 8 inches too far to the right and somehow just fell straight forward over the rail landing right on my chest on it. Took the wind out of me.
Alas, I am having a blast and I'm so thankful that I'm enjoying snowboarding again.
- meh parks, can't be bothered. i'm selective with my days riding, save it for the deep stuff.horton

My season is done!!! Smoked my tib/fib right off!!
Got a rod and couple of screws to boot... rehab time...

sorry to hear lobstarr - i had a bad tib/fib break back in 2002 (rod and pins in my left leg) - then i broke the fibula on my right leg a few years ago.. now i have metal in both legs!! not to count my other snowboarding injuries (broken hand, broken collarbone, torn ligaments in finger, and a million other tears, bruises, etc..)
hang in there, get better soon! next season will be right around the corner!

I smashed my knee just below my knee cap pretty good this past Saturday. It's getting better and I'm lucky I didn't hurt it worse given that I'm going to Breck in a week. Through my pants, thermal, pads, and socks I tore a pretty nice scrap in my skin, but luckily didn't rip my pants or anything. It only hurts if I put a ton of pressure on it; just icing it a lot right now and hoping the scab starts forming soon.
I've got video of the crash too! I was hitting a 1 foot wide rail box that I've hit plenty, but went off toe edge, slid out from under my, and my knee took the full weight of my body on the edge of the metal side. Flipped forward and hit my left assmeat pretty hard, but that's fine now.
