I was just wondering what was your work issued computer,
- The computer should be the one given to you at work,
not the one you bought
-
Right now I'm using a macbook pro (latest gen before unibody)You?

Macpro, its about 3 years old, talking about getting spanky new imacs as they can upgrade them more often and they have nice screens.

I should also mention that in less than a year,
I went from 2006 G5
to 2010 Imac
to G5
to macbook,
and they promise me a new beast after new yearIt suck that I have to hate macs so much

Dual Core iMac, annoys me that one of the flash developers has a quad core when Flash certainly wont be taking advantage of that.

Mac Pro here...and they have lots of Pcs and older Macs around for testing purposes. They gave me a MacBookPro last year, that I really don't use as I refuse to take work home.

17" macpro. 2.4,ddr667. All silver which ever one that is, think its about 3 years old. The lease is up next month so i'll be getting a new computer. I'll be switching to a lenovo w510. 1.73 quad/8gb1333/1tb7200/usb3/esata... of usb, think total cost was $2400. Not the most stylish but good power. Think i could have got a shinier msi laptop with the same specs for 1600 bucks, but msi isn't part of the leasing contracts. Also had my choice of the w701, which was pretty cool, but not worth the price premium.

27 inch iMac at the last job. Will be finding out on Monday at the new job. I hope for an iMac or MBP with a CD.

OK... freelancers unite....
Home office: quad-core Q6600 dual-boot hackintosh/Win7 with nice graphics card and 8 gigs RAM....
Bring to client meetings: older Thinkpad T43... nice and cheap... and somewhat old MacBook and small red Netbook.. macbook has dodgy hardware issues and is out of warranty... but I do like it....

How is the Hackintosh world these days? I haven't looked into it for awhile, but it's about time to upgrade the home machine and I'd consider one.
