So.... does red text work on a black background.... I'm talking solid phuking testosterone race car red on 100% K.
I am thinking of this color scheme for a high gloss business card,

red will turn to black for those who are color-blind.

Don't just use 100% K, make a rich black and it will pop more. At least the M & Y since you'll need to trap that red anyway. Maybe a 40/30/20/100 mix will do you right.
- trapping red sucks and not to many silk screen places take the time to do right74LEO
- What does silkscreening have to do with this? Dubblebubble's making a business card...duckofrubber

it can work, but it really depends on what kind of message you're trying to send. it's pro's are strength, comradeship, power, impact. its cons are ..well.. see above. 90's goths kinda took it up as their own.
- yeah the person the card for is a very powerful and passionate singer. so, it works.. plus her last name is cardinal... middle name rose.... so the red is very fitting.dubblebubble
