iPad - Worth getting one?

i have a laptop and i have a ipad.. and they are totally different beasts.
it definitely is a luxury item, but when i am sitting there eating my breakfast reading the news on it, it feels much less lame than sitting there using a laptop.
i use it more than my laptop most days.
but yep, i can totally understand how people would find it excessive.
that said, i dont regret buying for a minute.

awesome for air travel as well.. we loaded it up with a few seasons of tv and a few movies.. the flight from Australia to Germany went so fast.
- again tho, total luxury item.. completely unnecessaryautoflavour

sufficient 7inch screen with every function that people wished they had on the ipad. oh yeah, that includes the ability to make phonecalls.- ipad definitely lacks camera and phone abilities.autoflavour
