What res do you save web graphics at?

In the olden days of the web I would save images at 72dpi. Now I normally save at 96dpi.
I was just reading this article (http://www.lukew.com/ff/entry.a... about the new screen res of the iPhone 4 retina display and started to think I was off by a bit.
What dpi or ppi do you use and why?

if you're targeting the iphone 4, sure go ahead, add a redirect when you detect someone on the iphone. otherwise, everything's still pretty much the same.

It doesn't matter a whit.
the only thing that really matters is the pixel dimensions...

i stick with 1dpi. everything is do is bitmap. saves a lot of time, is fast loading and i haven't had a client in 8 years. my time is in the mail, i'm sure of it.
