I am going to South America in June and July.
I want to spend the first 2 weeks on a hot tropical beach where everything is super cheap so I can get real fat and tan.
Then I want to Farm (WWOOF) for a couple weeks - somewhere sunny and warm.
The rest of the time? Who knows.
Any recommendations for regions? (Very general - weather wise - safety wise, etc)

you are going during south america's winter season, so hot tropical beach might be tough.

big big continent. where exactly are you going?

considering its winter in june and july you probably want to explore the northern parts of the continent.

I am open to Central America - non-Wwoof farming, anything really.
I went to Southeast Asia a couple years ago - and while that would be a great place to go in this window, I would really like to see some new things first and foremost!

en la Sur;
hot + tropical = Colombia...Cartagena and Baranquilla. Also recommend Venezuela.

I went to Peru and Argentina (just Buenos Aires for a weekend on the way home) and I couldn't recommend them enough. No beaches but loads to do and see and all very cheap.
I spent a week in Arequipa. I was by the pool not the sea, but that sorted out my needs in the relaxation dept. Lovely sunny weather and a waitress on hand to bring me an endless supply of pisco sours while I enjoyed a good book. Perfect.
