More vintage Livi.
I met a couple of the folk in this video last weekend. Quite a change from those years.

- Yeah! Glad it was a positive outcome, I've watched a lot of skate docs where it doesn't work out as mellow.PhanLo

Recommendations please.
My daughter appears to be a natural at skateboarding (yes I know I would say that).
She was given a cheap fixed (don't know the terminology) skateboard that won't turn - she can only go in a straight line ha.
Her balance is great though, better than mine ever has been.
So, does anyone know a good entry level brand for children (she's nearly 6) ?
Thought I would treat her during lockdown. Nothing too expensive but not something that's going to break quickly etc.
Thanks.
- did you loose the trucks?uan
- https://youtu.be/10L…uan
- Yeah tried loosening the main bolts on bottom but they only move a bit then stop...
Excuse terminology, I have never skated :)fadein11 - that yt braille dude is really top for learning. you should be able to remove those bolts completely.uan
- penny boards are also fun for kids. lightweight and ‚fast‘ :) anything you give them that rolls is fun at that age:)uan
- thanks mate, appreciated.
found this site, should I go for the small size as she is so young? or one to grow into. Only cheap I guess so may not matter.fadein11 - https://www.skatehut…fadein11
- look for a freestyle skateboard for starters. once she's got basics down on that, you can give a regular onesrhadden
- are any on the above link one of those? Again I really haven't got a clue on this.fadein11

- Penny boards are shit for learning tricks, but if it's just for cruising around they're fine I guesssrhadden
- thanksfadein11
- Pennyboards are great for kids to learn balance and cruising, they're tough as hell and they won't wear out shoes. It's a great start.nb
- As soon as she wants to do tricks, you need to buy a new skateboard. This is overthinking it, but: https://shop.ccs.com…nb
- Oh it sounds like she's already got the balance and pushing down? Get something to do tricks on!nb

- These completes are a bargain, look for something on the smaller side: around 7.5" wide. She'll grow into it.nb
- nice one, thanks!fadein11
- See my post below. Enjoi do great starter completes and the trucks are tensor and wheels decent too. not ALL budget stuff.microkorg

- Thanks, but I want something cool not a camera bagnb
- Full disclosure: I'm a bag whore. The Molle webbing would be great for my 35mm setup.garbage
- I have two Chrome bags, but I've been using them less. I just rock a shoulder sling: camera, notebook, pens. This one might be a good camping bag though.garbage
- With a decent sling you can just kind of hang the trucks on the inside of the strap and tighten it like a belt.garbage
- The Chrome Citizen bag can hold a board in-between the straps and there's a heavy-duty velcro doohicky on the front strap, but it would probably be awkward.garbage
- It is a heavy-duty, weatherproof bag, but I would recommend getting some Domke wraps if you're carying cameras.garbage
- https://www.chromein…garbage
- My only complaint about this bag is that every asshole at a party is going to try to hit the buckle.garbage
- Why are you wearing a messenger bag to a party?ben_
- Because I have to carry my camera and shit around?garbage
- So you have a seatbelt on your chest. Question: Do you find yourself not getting laid ever?nb
- It's repurposed and they're actually kind of ubiquitous around here. It's a heavy-duty bag that's easy to click on or click off.garbage
- Answer: Not at all.
Question: Did you think that was some sort of jab? People commute on bikes and need bags. What are you, from Mississippi?garbage - I guess I'm just saying that bag is not my style.nb
- @nb no problem, I was a bit harsh in my response. They're just tough and waterproof, which is important.garbage
- nb, i fucking love my SWISSGEAR laptop backpack. Its the first time ive ever gone out and bought a second because the first was getting worn outmantrakid
- just check amazon for swissgear shit - its all pretty minimally styled, lots of space and pockets and storage, nice soft lining inside, etc.mantrakid
