Wtf is this. I’m really starting to hate the design. Maybe not as bad as PS3 but definitely worse than the PS3slim.
This is like a 90’s design trying to be futuristic or a router design.
Why can’t they design consoles that are sleek, minimalist and premium looking? Something you actually want to show in your living room and not have to hide it.
This looks too juvenile and loud to me.

Among Trees is out in early access.
With art by Mikael Gustafsson. I saw his work years ago, were he was building these incredible scenes using Unity and it made me jealous as all hell. When he announced he was making a game I was entirely on board, so I am glad that it is happening.

A few mechanics are missing or not fully fleshed out and it needs optimisation here and there as is usual for early access, but it looks gorgeous and is great to just wander about and look at stuff.

I've been putting serious hours in to Poly Bridge 2 for the last week. Rewarding and occasionally hilarious when a design works out - but by the end of the game the levels have such tight budgets it was 4 hours+ each and maybe felt a bit too much like work.
Posting because I recon this could kick start an engineering career if you get your kids hooked on it at the right point. Got me hyper aware on levers and balance IRL - I've improved my drum stick grip while playing it.
