isn't Bikram really the word for "stinky feet" in sanskrit?

do it, I did. it's expensive though. When you finish, you feel like you can do anything. It really tests your mind more than anything. If you feel like your gonna pass out just lie down, don't leave the room. Oh, and don't eat just before you go, my cousin did and he was gonna throw up in there. Doing it in summer would be full on though.

bulletfactory - I'm doing P90X too...same here, yoga kicks my ass! Hate and love it!
Personally I prefer normal yoga over fake-hot yoga. Yoga during the summer with no AC gives you the same result and doesn't make you breathe man made hot air... that's the worst part to me.

I did it once last year and I thought it was amazing. It is a musty smell from everyone sweating, but it's not that bad at all. Only reason I didn't continue is that they wanted like $150/month for a membership there.
fuck that.

Ahhh I'll probably have diarrhea anyway. Here's to new experiences.

My wife does it. Says one place really stinks bad. But she found another place that doesn't stink so much (yet). Seems like a bunch of bullshit to me.

Bring two bottles of water and an extra towel. Change of cloths.
If you have tendencies to faint in hot / humid condition, notify them before you start.

ITS NOT REAL YOGA JUST SAY NO!
every reason why people say bikram is better is bullshit because regular yoga does the exact same thing minus the negative side effects of stretching overheated muscles.
enjoy pulling a hammy the day after.

I used to pick up my ex-girlfriend from her bikram classes in the marina, that place smelled like death.

I had to do a photo shoot inside of a bikram yoga class.. It is very hot and Stinky, and it looked like a challenge. Good Luck!

Never done Bikram Yoga, I have been sweating enough doing the P90-X Yoga which is 1.5 hours of kicking my ass. I am more flexible though, and it's getting (a little) easier each time.
Good luck with the Yoga-sauna, it will definitely benefit your health and well-being.- unless he has a heart condition, or is prone to overheating, in which case it may be fatal.7point34

my wife takes it all the time. personally, i think it sounds like hell on earth (which it pretty much is at 105°), so needless to say i haven't tried it.
