Yeah yo.
I'm making a restaurant menu, would you put the soft drinks before the wine list, or after? I'm having some disagreement about this but don't have any menu samples to check against.
thankz.

Jim, Sr. Web Designer and partner in Detroit, MI earning 190k/year and some company benefits would definitely put soft drinks after.

Wines / Beers / Spirits / Soft drinks should be the order you use

separate drinks menu - beer / wine / spirits
food & soft drinks / tea / coffee on same menu (drinks at end)

I agree with jonturi. Keep the booze separate.

Don't even put that kind of trivial stuff on the menu.

lol. Why keep the booze seperate?

alcoholic beverages in single pages separate menu?

I guess it really depends on the size of the wine / spirits list. MOST restaurants keep it separate because they stock several wines and the list can change. They also keep it separate to avoid seeming like a cheap restaurant; basically, it's classier to have a separate menu for that kind of stuff...same reason dessert menus come AFTER dinner (and often have dessert wines listed on them). Hey, if you're designing for a low-end restaurant that has only a few bottles, then the choice is yours.

Yeah thanks for the info mono, that's an interesting point of view. There are 16 wines on the menu and champagne, which does fit nicely onto a single page after the food. Maybe i'll propose it too, as the food section is quite extensive (around 40 dishes)... hmm.
