sorry about your loss, I've been considering the option of paying a monthly amazon storage to backup important stuff like that remotely on a frequent basis for situations like this, I think it's a pretty good idea.

I had my car broke into 2 days ago. Smashed both the windows just to empty the glove box of maps. Also stole the car manual and a folder I had with the registration/insurance... i guess thinking there might be money tucked somewhere. Must be something in the air. That invasion of privacy feeling always sucks... yours sounds a thousand time worse though.

uggghhh i cannot imagine having my home broken into. i had my car broken into a few times and it pissed me off so bad, but my house would scar me.
