# 1 logotype is the best with 118 incorporated , only thing is colours seem limited, as in you used same colours on all those so far.

I'm afraid that, on first glance, they're all a little over dense. I certainly wouldn't entertain continuing with the vertical text versions.
If you must branch from one of these - stick with the simplest, no. 1 - but it's still quite clumsy, over-plain and obvious.
I'd probably knock that serif detail off the 8/G composite - just cleaving a chunk out should be enough to distinguish it as a number - but that still leaves the oddly embedded 11.
I dunno, man - I'd do a little more doodling on paper.

For readability op 2, but i like better op 1

fist one is overly complicated and the "8" in the second option looks like a guy jerking off.

118º

option 1 is too busy. doesn't look like a restaurant for me.
option 2 is cool.
might be worth exploring more options.

are you going to be responsible for changing the logo on the front of the building? have you thought how these might look up there on the brick?

thanks for your help.
version 3: yes, i have thought about it, its actually placed on wood. but the second one seemed a little harder just because it was so long...

i've seen the storefront, so i'm just wondering what you're planning on there

i think you got close to the idea of 118º.
in #2 (the one on the left) you already bent the 8 to oº and it actually works. Maybe a little more exploration of simple that number/form using that lucky coincidence would do the trick.

in option 2 i see big bellied man trying to comfort himself peacefully.. :)

i would utilize the EES combination rather that the DEG, as the EES has the same visual rhythm as 118. plus you can add the º symbol at the end of the word mark without it interfering. i would looks for a stronger and more geometric typeface and use your first direction as a starting point. ditch the dot symbol as it adds nothing to the composition.

i reference to this being on the outside of the building, whatever wood you speak of, i hope it's multi layered and well made, the strokes all seem a bit thin to me
