seriously - you're in SF, be a tourist in your own city for a couple of days.

Why were you asked you take off? Slow at the office? Is it paid time?
The answer at any rate is go surfing.
- Avoid Ocean Beach if you're a noob and it's thumping.Scotch_Roman
- finished my project super early and they're figuring out what to put me on next. Surfing eh? Not bad.hellogoodbye
- I see. You'll need a full wetsuit, prolly 3 mil. Borrow one from a friend, or the surf shop will give you a filthy rental.Scotch_Roman
- Places like Moss Landing and other areas just south of SF have more forgiving beackbreak for the novice.Scotch_Roman
- 3/4 mm fullsuit for the summer in sfkld
- and youre still chillin'kld

Take the train to Sac and then rent a car up to Tahoe.

see people shooting on the sidewalk in the tenderloin
get creeped out by old gay guys
feel inferior
see a million cliches
see a city where the culture train ran out of steam
go out and dance your life away
take on a new persona
forget to see all the amazing nature that exists all around the city/bay
take a picture of the golden gate bridge
go to an art gallery
spend most of your time around union square shopping
start liking graffiti and take pictures of it for your new blog
go to golden gate park and imagine what it would be like to smoke some weed
walk down haight and get offered fake drugs every other block
go to amoeba, get confused by all the music and forget to buy anything
walk way more then any sane human needs to because the bus is scary
wish you had gone somewhere elsejust kidding...sarcasm is fun on monday...
the coolest thing I saw when I was there last is the trail from the clif f house restaurant all the way around to baker beach by the golden gate. its a trek but pretty amazing/beautiful. I did it so that I ended up at baker beach to take a cool front lit sunset photo of the bridge with sand and rocks in the foreground. do it!
- the drugs on haight aren't fakemonospaced

I really enjoyed the new Academy of Science museum in Golden Gate Park when I was there a few weeks ago. It costs like $25 just to get in, but I thought it was worth it.
