twitter-why?
We're a lead to believe that it will help us keep in touch with friends and family - "social networking".
I personally believe that it fulfills our personal need to be noticed, even though no one is really paying any attention.

I'm already exhausted by brands' and marketers' desires to monetize twitter and base campaigns around it. I've had at least 3 headache inducing meetings in the last week with people wanting concepts for their crap based around Twitter.
