i've taken several life drawing courses, starting when i was 16.
they're usually setup like a lab where you come in and do your own thing while they provide some over-secure fat person for you to draw.
the biggest help for me was just the discipline of actually going to a class and spending x amount of hours drawing

-- this super hot brazilian girl that spoke no english..... Mmmmmm
-- then we got this guy who for 4 hours had a raging erection
-- and yet the other time we had this super fat woman
-- and this tiny 5' tall man who when changing positions would jump up so his junk would bounce...

I took a semester in college. Hate to break it to you benfal, but they are usually not hot chicks:)
Being able to draw well is a useful skill to have though. I should probably practice more.

exactly, i agree. 3.5 hours every week doing that.. its very hard. And iam doing it after my 8 hours of normal work... that make some very long days. 7:30AM to 9:30PM ...

one time this dude got a boner and it started leaking precum... it touched his leg and when he changed positions it made this long string from leg to penis that just hung there for several minutes

You actually have to be able to draw though, right? I always wondered that. Or it is useful anyway to learn techniques for general knowledge?

Did it in university, was good to learn.
And what ukit said, didn't get to draw any hot chicks, mostly hairy hippies and old men. But that might be up your alley. JUST KIDDING!

i only drew hot women. if a man came in, i would turn my workstation desk thing away from him and moan for the hour that he was there.
- benfal990
yeah ukit, i know they are not necessary hot chicks. The one we had this evening was a 38 ~ 40 women that looked pretty average. She told us it was one the toughest job to do. Its true, i guess.
But god I hate drawing mens... dunno why...

I have, at college. One time we had a male model and he had a piece of tissue paper stuck on the end of his dick. Everyone on that side of him included it in their drawing.

Could be funny

I feel like I have entered an alternate universe through the QBN portal. Tell me more!

i took life drawing almost every semester. its really great for enhancing your personal art skills.
p.s its not always hot chicks.
I always found the awkward weird people more fascinating to draw.. especially when we had this one fully tattooed guy who was a extra in lord of the rings.

I was in one where this lardo woman was nude. When it was time for her break she produced a jolly rancher from underneath one of her boobs.

To be honest, I don't think I did enough of it and I'd like to do it now but wouldn't be able to afford any fees. 4 hours every week passed really quickly. It really helped me imporve my drawing though although with so long being passed now, I've lost the benefit of that.

Oh, another tip is, if you're gonna pass a comment about the model, be certain they've left the room. I made a remark about one of our female models looking like Mark Hamill and she was behind a screen in that same room, then walked out. Awkward.
- HAHAHAH was that post accident hamil?********
- http://www.ossus.pl/… like this, slightly more femanine and with a lazy eyekalkal
- Surely that was intended to be a compliment.NotByHand
