Wait, wait, wait...its almost NEVER hot chicks, and even if it is...are you 15? At my school given the location we would garner really fucking hot chicks, but we your focus was drawing their body in chalk in 5 minutes in between poses. The fun would start before and after class...there was a model that wore 6" heels and a sheer top up to the cafeteria during a break. Thats when you're allowed to get a boner...not when you're trying to learn how to draw.

Drawing is just a skill, like writing. It's not something people are born with or only some people can do.
It's actually very good practice for design, because it shifts your brain into a more creative mode.

One semester I had a gay professor. Every fucking model was a guy. I hated that asshole.
Another semester we had a really hot black chick. The drawback was that she had a fur bikini.

It's funny I found that the hotter the model the better the work. for guys anyway, maybe it's the hormones that get the creative juices flowing.

I had one hot model for a clay sculpting class. when it was time to take a break and show the work it was like way obvious that I spent like a half an hour sculpting the ass. It looked like a kid's sculpture of a clown until it came to the ass, which was like, way perfect. People were laughing (i think). I didnt notice it until we were reviewing the work.

I have to agree with ukit, my drawing was dismal before starting life drawing. It was never amazing but I made huge leaps in quality.

The best model that I ever had was at KCAI, he didnt even come to class in a robe, he was just naked. And he struck the best poses...including the "Heisman." He would party with everybody too...and just show up naked. That guy was awesome.

did it for 4 years in college, nearly every day. I miss it a lot and really enjoyed it.
Once had this obese woman, and for one of her 30 min poses she turned around, bent over and stuck her ass in the air about 4 feet from my face. A friend walked mid-pose to chat, turned to look at the model, jumped in the air and said, loudly, "holy shit!"
Another time, had this young model I only saw once. She was on the floor and she came up right alongside where I was drawing, got on her back, lifted both legs in the air, gave me the full view and looked me in the eye for the full length of time. I was sweating.

i've done it and it's somehow one of the best ways to learn to draw,
if you can draw a complete human body, you can draw everything

We had had mostly good looking curvy girls to draw but this one time we had this confident ginger Irish lad who couldnt wait to pose in exposing positions. It turned out that most people did contour drawings and left after the first session.
Was a great class first thing on Monday mornings.

we had once and only once a super hot chick posing for us in a fashion/ life drawing class. our original ugly skank model never showed up, so we [the students] went thru the school looking for a hot chick to pose for us and we found her!!
gotta love fashion schools for the hot babes willing to take off their clothes for the greater good of fashion boners!!!

I enjoyed it.
Only issue was they all smelled like old oranges.
To make things worse, they would always bring in some oranges to eat with their bare hands during their breaks and stink up the place.Had a bunch of 5 losers in class — the younger ones — that would seem to get boners during class whenever a girl was nude. Cherry boys would not even get up for the whole duration of the class.
