What fascinates me is that people treat Cuban Revolution as something good, while this was beginning of a ruthless regime Batista seems a nice guy in comparison with.
It's only been about a year since people there are allowed to own a computer with a DVD drive or a cell phone. Homes with internet connection indicate a secret police snitch, decent people don't have these.
Che Guevara is the man who built this, he was a psychopath obsessed with an utopian idea. In 1955, when it was clear what Soviet Communism was about, he wanted to name his son Vladimir.
He sentenced to death comrades who had their own ideas, who didn't want Cuba to have Soviet style of communism.

I like the part where he orders the murder of teenage kids who like rock and roll. That is BADASS! Or when he makes his political prisoners kneel before him so he can blast them in the head like the cowardly scum, I mean speaking truth to power hero, he was. Oh! and the part where he burns books, you know, 'cause it's okay if a leftist megalomaniac despot crushes free expression... I mean, how hip can you get, pal? Che! And then that special part after that where you guys ignore it – awesome. Revolution is fun and cool, ya know?
