Lets start it up funké
SoulSistas And SoulBruthas! I'm a straight up sucka for the classic film of my youth called, The Warriors. I ran across it on the vast cable universe and put together a mix loosely inspired by the flick. The mix is chock full of some REAL slices of funk from all kinds of places in the world as well as various genres. I put in a few audio clips as well, especially the character of Cyrus and his classic mantra, "Can You Dig It?" If you've not seen it, it's definitely of it's time in depicting a very scary New York City of the 70's. As always, I hope you enjoy and get down on The Warriors Mix!!!
