- Done right, I think you could take over a medium-sized country with a vial of this shit.Nairn
- Christ, Nairn. I love hot sauces and nuclear chillis as much as the next guy, but you're a far, far braver soul than I am for even considering ordering this.Continuity
- it wouldn't be for eating. I can't stand super hot sauce. It would just be to possess it.
MAD-likeNairn - Haha! Come on, mate. You know, and I know, that you simply wouldn't be able to resist taking a few grains of powder on your finger, and popping it in your gob.Continuity
- I know I would. My low impulse control and cat-like curiosity would doom me, if I had this anywhere in the flat.Continuity
- fuck me, imagine miss mia wallace pulled this out of vincent vegas pocket instead_niko

- Oh god, your poor hindparts.garbage
- haha, I'm only going to try a needle-point's worth - I just kind of want to possess the chemical itself. Might come in handy.Nairn
- Do you ever use yours? I have some suspended in glycerin, but after the initial novelty, I haven’t touched it in months.imbecile
- I tried a single grain and regretted it for the next hour or two and for shame, it's sat unused in my drawer sinceNairn

Any of you New Yorkers might remember the restaurant Talde in Brooklyn (RIP - I think there's still one in NJ too). They had a sauce on the table that was especially awesome with the crispy bacon and oyster pad thai.
Anyway, I think Dale Talde had a cookbook or something with all his restaurants recipes and that sauce was in there. It's just 50/50 Franks Red Hot and Sriracha. I keep a bottle filled with it and use it on almost everything.

- Talking of Industrial contaminants, why does this stuff have a 'prop 65' warning about possibly-containing lead?!Nairn
- IDK it's a California thing. Maybe because the chilis are fried or the plastic lid?fooler

Just picked some of this up - a random find in some hippy organic place, where I was trying to find something else. Had a wee taste when I got home just now, which turned into a small glug, which turned into another and I could quite easily drink the entire fucking bottle neat and my guts be damned for the next day, but no. Well, we'll see. Perhaps. So, not hot - but quite tasty.

Not hot sauce, but related..
I'm disappointed in myself that I'd not known about this, given I currently have three different jars of Turkish chili flakes in my stock, but I saw this in a shop and assumed at first it was a piss-take, like "It's hot" in a heavy mediterranean drawl.
Anyway, I now have four jars of Turkish chilli flakes in my larder.

Interesting taste, and a nice subdued heat. No smoky mexican dried chili, mind.
