Whhipp's "kid down the street" actually grew up to be Mitt Romney.

"Republicans aren't against helping our true needy and helpless citizens without waver. But we also know that a system that enables a larger growing group of dependents that are not truly needy nor helpless is a disaster waiting to happen and will infringe on the true group of needy and helpless... so who are the bastards now? The ones that want to protect the moneys for the truly less fortunate or the low scum that apply for benefits taking from the truly sick and needy?"
The thing is that the right is willing to throw out the baby with the bath water. i don't hear about making the welfare system more fair or more efficient or less prone to fraud. i just hear "cut", "reduce" etc. They are under the mistaken impression that if you make it harder to get assistance, those who don't really need it will give up and get legit jobs. But defrauders of welfare aren't that easily swayed, because the type of person that is looking for a handout they don't deserve will never stop trying to game the system.
Meanwhile, it's made harder for those who need it
Make no mistake, the system needs to be fixed in order to better detect defrauders and get them off the rolls. But all this "moocher class" and "generation of takers" talk from the right does not instill the image of benevolent philanthropists looking out for the needy- Personally...
I's rather be in the
Corporate Welfare
cheese line.utopian - would you be on board to cuts by making it fair and efficient? Or still side with Obama's growing it without regulation?whhipp
- Explain how tax breaks for corporations aren't a form of entitlement, neocon.aaux
- More money goes to those tax breaks than all the social programs combined.aaux
- And I'll take the GOP seriously when even ONE suggests cutting military spending.aaux
- aaux, unsure if we actually need to make cuts to defense, rather minimize the waste. Sort of like all of government. Until someone proposes this before hiking anyones taxes I will be on board.whhipp
- someone proposes this before hiking anyones taxes I will be on board.whhipp
- on board with no tax increases. Its a joke how willing you want to give to others who are wasting our money. Get down from your soap box and put a foot down to all the waste. You can cry all you want about corporate taxes etc... even if the government had those taxes, we would still be in the same situation. Government needs to be cleaned up.whhipp

"But we also know that a system that enables a larger growing group of dependents that are not truly needy nor helpless is a disaster waiting to happen and will infringe on the true group of needy and helpless" Cite some studies supporting this please. This sounds suspiciously like the bullshit "welfare mom" story that reagan cooked up when he was running for office. Of course, no one has ever found person he was referring too nor any proof that it's a widespread problem. This is just another bullshit scare story the neocons trot out every election cycle. Just like the millions of cases of illegals voting in presidential elections that not one of you fucks can provide a shred of evidence in support of. All you fall back on is, "well, I know a guy that said he hear from someone that a black guy voted 4 times on the same day". Which, as long as it supports what you already believe makes it true to you.
- ^ there is a small little example right above. Nice little video. Its obviously a real problem...whhipp
- oh yeah i forgot... you neonut!whhipp
- Judge judy is your source?aaux
- better believe it.whhipp
- You really dont' have shit to back up your story, do you?aaux
- i think you are missing the actual video above. watch it.whhipp
- whhipp0
^ now you dont have to go by someone told you a black man voted 4 times...
- aaux0
See, the difference here neocon? An actual story with quotable sources and documentation to look up:
- its safe to think aaux is a closet neocon. Its like those male antigay activist that get caught in the long run.yurimon
- i think so.whhipp
- by the way neonut, these are actual videos with actual events... basically no need for documentation BAM!whhipp
- aaux. there equally messed up situation in this bullshit polarization that is created to divide people.yurimon
- yuri, quit pretending you're not a neocon. And whip, still waiting for any examples with verifiable information. Not anecdotal video footage.aaux
- anecdotal video footage. Show me a criminal prosecution of someone committing voter fraud, please.aaux
- you use the n word so loosely that you have no idea what it means anymore its just hate. do neocons hate in your definition?yurimon
- you definition of the word?yurimon

lol...so this guy is supposed to be the future of the GOP and may run in 2016. However he is unwilling to say how old the Earth is and wants Creationism taught in schools. Same old same old..
- Creationism taught in schools??

It's early. That said, Rubio's not looking good. If Jindal can consistently build on his "smart" conservative posturing from last week, then there's some hope.

NYTs yesterday said there's a lot of speculation and discussion that Jeb Bush will be running in 2016.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/2…- Nothing new since we had like 20 years of bush c i a coupe de bush policiesyurimon

You guys are on other side of stupid. I am not perfect but at least I understand the bipartisan bullshit and You still post crap like this even when each state is split red and blue internally? you can't fix partisan stupid.- You mad yurimon? Just thought it was interesting:)ukit2
- Nope, these charts just stupid.yurimon
- If only you'd used the correct 'your' etc at least once, I'd listen to your views on other people's education. Sorry.mikotondria3
- Yurimon, 2016 is right around the corner, give it a rest already.utopian
- Funny how yurimon is so "bipartisan but post something attacking Republicans and he gets madukit2
- Nope. I dont like either party and dont like brain washed dogs like yourself.yurimon
- – mikotondria thanks, maybe you can be my editor. I ll email you everything before i type fucktardyurimon

mikotondria3 - I dont hate you either. no worries. :-)yurimon

Romney's final vote percentage: 47%

Anyone see Lincoln? Its awesome. Republicans were great in it.
- Its pure propaganda. Not the real lincoln but doesn't mean it wasn't good entertainment and not history.yurimon
- In your view how was it propaganda exactly?TheBlueOne
- You can start with google books.
there is a book with all his writings as a start.yurimon - They just took the parts about him they like an put it forward. and gave a small mention to everything else.yurimon
- in essence they molded him to what they wanted to portray. thus propogandayurimon
- TheBlueOne0
Yurimon - your cool little anti-ideology stance is an ideology, you do realize that, right? And it's a very conservative ideology (small-c conservative) by which any expression of ideals by others become impossible in your view. Your comfortable stinky little anti-ideology hovel there is all the more ideological because it pretends to have no ideology, to be the “plain truth” that demonstrates the falsity of other visions. Your ideology just leads to inaction which, my favorite useful idiot, serves the powerful more than anything else when promoted in the slightly-brighter-than-average sheeple like yourself to the less bright.
You're Jack Ruby in other words.
- Truth is you dont know me aside from tiny posts which I agree not complete form of expression. but Nice little bitch rant.yurimon
- rant. How are you not sheeple again?yurimon
- How ARE we sheeple? Who, for example, do i or TBO blindly follow? You know as much about as as we do about you.locustsloth
- Which you say is very littlelocustsloth
- answer the question. I am sure you already know.yurimon
- He did answer it, cum bubble.waterhouse
- thats not an answer fucknuter. I think your frustration is trying to make this forum more then it is.yurimon
- Fine. i am not sheeple because i objectively scrutinize the information i hear and read and the source it comes from, including any sort of interests the disseminating entity has. In addition i sample news sources from either side of the issue and, again, ask "what's missing from this story? what have they left out, either ignorantly or purposefully?"locustsloth

- again, ask "what's missing from this story? what have they left out, either ignorantly or purposefully?"locustsloth
- Now you answer: what makes you think you know jack shit about our motivations, intelligence or demeanor, as, like you said, these posts are only a small part of anyone's persona?locustsloth
- you said, these posts are only a small part of anyone's persona?locustsloth
- great! couldn't have said it better myself. so whats the problem?yurimon
- the problem is you throwing out a label like 'sheeple' while admitting that you have no idea whether that is truelocustsloth
- otherwise known as being a worthless trolllocustsloth
- Yeah so. I think its true when I used the word sheeple. Your offense to may have hit home perhaps.yurimon
