Two of the four students killed, Allison Krause and Jeffrey Miller, had participated in the protest, and the other two, Sandra Scheuer and William Knox Schroeder, had been walking from one class to the next at the time of their deaths. Schroeder was also a member of the campus ROTC chapter. Of those wounded, none was closer than 71 feet to the guardsmen. Of those killed, the nearest (Miller) was 265 feet away, and their average distance from the guardsmen was 345 feet."
That hit piece from James Rosen does an incredible disservice to the memory of the four innocent students' lives lost. There has never been any proof—even with Rosen's hack job—that the National Guard had any reason to fire .30 caliber rounds on a crowd of unarmed college students.

As a result, Republicans' advantage over Democrats on this measure has shrunk from 19 points in early April to 10 points in the latest weekly aggregate."
"Republicans' current 10-point lead is the smallest Gallup has measured since it began tracking 2010 election attitudes in March."

The Federal Communications Commission has come up with a new way to apply some network neutrality rules that would force Comcast Corp., AT&T Inc. and other broadband Internet service providers to handle all Web traffic the same, without imposing limits on users or blocking websites.
The proposal is aimed at blunting an April federal appeals court ruling involving Comcast that found that the agency had limited authority to regulate broadband Internet service.
FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said the Comcast decision has created a "serious problem" and that his agency believes more regulation of broadband Internet service is needed, though not the heavier restrictions that apply to telephone companies.
