dreaming, being ideological and naive about the magic hand of the market are all well and good but some of us live in the real world.

That is a pretty retarded law and deserves every joke thrown at it (maybe Sharon Stone can lead a protest movement) but I'm not seeing the creeping movement towards gov controlling your life.
Didn't the Supreme Court recently say that we have an individual right to bear arms? Also overturning state laws like restrictions on fellatio and sodomy. When the gov legally affirms your ability to fuck people in the ass, things can't be that bad, can they?

Even when I look at this in a *fair and balanced* I gotta say, on the face of it, doesn't look good for Fox:

There are also signs that the Republican Senatorial Committee is tied up in this...they were apparently paying generous salaries to both the mistress' husband and 19-year old son for "political consulting".

"In the strongest message yet from the U.S. government, the House voted 405-1 Friday to condemn Tehran's crackdown on demonstrators and the government's interference with Internet and cell phone communications.
The resolution was initiated by Republicans as a veiled criticism of President Barack Obama, who has been reluctant to criticize Tehran's handling of disputed elections that left hard-liner President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in power.
Rep. Mike Pence, who co-sponsored the resolution, said he disagrees with the administration that it must not meddle in Iran's affairs.
"When Ronald Reagan went before the Brandenburg Gate, he did not say Mr. (Mikhail) Gorbachev, that wall is none of our business," said Pence, R-Ind., of President Reagan's famous exhortation to the Soviet leader to "tear down that wall."
Rep. Ron Paul, a Texas libertarian who often speaks out against what he regards as government meddling, cast the sole opposing vote."
- It's about time a western nation said or did something of substance.********
- its bad when u cant condemn someone for an action and u have to take a vote. but good for ron********

US Census is coming in 2010. By national law all they are suppose to know is how many people live at that address so they can get a national total. Thousands of people will be temporarily employed by the US Gov. and go door-to-door to "count" people. These are the US Census questions for 2010 that they will probably ask...

OK, I understand Ron Paul's motives and all, but this was still a funny post:

what interests me about ron paul is that he has pictures of an anarchist on his wall.. it's not the right kind of anarchist but an anarchist all the same.

If we receive the census by mail, we'll burn it. If someone shows up at our door from the census asking questions, we will tell them to get lost. Especially if it is one of those ACORN son of a bitches.

The BET Awards (Black Entertainment) are just around the corner. But you can't be nominated or win an award unless you are black???
Just imagine if a show came out, the "WET Awards", for "white entertainers only".
A double standard here? Why is this not considered racist?
- Meh. I agree and disagree. I think racism is racism no matter who is discriminating. But at the same time, it's probably atommyo
- positive thing that minorities can also celebrate people within their own ilk.tommyo
- Godsakes man, you're boring. This is the shit half-educated pretentious rednecks say thinking they have some kind of insightful and witty point.TheBlueOne

theblueone, if it's okay to have a black only awards show, or a latin only awards show, then it must be okay to have an awards show for "honkies" only? The answer is no, and you know it. Just admit it you fake, unauthentic wannabe.

- I love it when white people declare racism. It is fucking ridiculous.DrBombay
- The majority of blacks don't like or play country music. Nice try though.********

- all kinds of people attend these shows, how is that exclusive or racist ?BattleAxe
