Wow. This is rich.

The guy that rips us new holes about socialist values and wants banks to fail, and toes the republican line well, he thinks sharing fonts is a-ok. Font socialism is all cool, eh. And apparently people like me who hold positions that such valued things like font copyright shouldn't be given away are "douchebags". Gee, I thought it was just being capitalistic.
Why not let that designer "fail". If he really wanted to succeed he'd buy that font himself, right. Oh right this is different.
Don't lecture me again about principles.

Of course TBD, you would take it out of context...here is my response from the thread:
"Well under these circumstances, yes of course. Are you saying the man should have to buy the font just to work on it at home and then take it back to work? Seems a little ridiculous as he isn't profiting from it, his company is, and they already own the font."
- designbot0
Please I would love to hear your response TBD. You trying to compare the above and question my political views as a result is pretty absurd.
The facts are....His work already owns the font. He was working from home and needed it to finish working on a file he started at his workplace. He asked for it here on QBN because he was in a bind.
Do you suppose it's "stealing" to download a font that is already owned by his company? On a file that in the end, will be brought back to his work place.
If I was promoting "font socialism" as you call it, his work wouldn't have owned the font in the first place.
- does that mean i should be legally allowed to download a $10,000 computer program for my home too? my company owns it...robco
- ...owns it already. i will now proceed to butt out.robco
- i think software companies have a deal for 1 home user license with purchase of work license. but hey i could be wrong to lazy to check.********

A re-emergence of violence in Northern Ireland...
2 soldiers and a police officer shot dead by dissident republicans (I'm currently speculating that the police shooting was linked to the killing of the soldiers)
This is the hitty politics i never wanted to see again.

Remember that russian analyst who predicted disintegration of USA, and that Texas will be the heart of "The Texas Republic"?

Chuck Norris claims thousands of right wing cell groups exist and will rebel against U.S. government
Norris claims that; “Thousands of cell groups will be united around the country in solidarity over the concerns for our nation.” The right wing cells will meet during a live telecast, "We Surround Them," on Friday March 13 at 5 p.m.
The martial artist/actor/activist claims that Texas was never formally a part of the United States in the first place and that if rebellion is to come through secession Texas would lead the way.

Fair weather opportunistic "patriots", the lot of them:
"GLENN BECK: Americans will, they just, they won't stand for it. There will be parts of the country that will rise up. And they said, where's that going to come from? And I said Texas, it's going to come from Texas. Do you agree with that, Chuck, or not?
CHUCK NORRIS: Oh, yeah. You know, Texas is a republic, you know. We could actually --
GLENN BECK: It was a country before it was a state.
CHUCK NORRIS: Yeah, we could break off from the union if we wanted to.
GLENN BECK: You do, you call me.
CHUCK NORRIS: Oh, yeah. "
These same "patriots" are the first ones to tell people who don't agree with them "America, love it or leave it you faggots", but they sure do love to talk about secceeding from the Union. What? You can't stand by America when it's in dire shape and you want to bug out like the cowards you really are, eh? Meanwhile both these guys get to express their opinion all over the major "liberal" media. Go figure.
- Man fuck Texas. That whole state is whacked. They have their own reality and are 50 years behind mentally.********

Michael Steele is hilarious. Check out this interview he did with GQ.

"Who do you listen to?
I actually listen to a cross section, because I like to hear what the medium is saying, what the voice is.
But do you have a favorite?
P. Diddy I enjoy quite a bit.
Do you want to rethink that?
[laughs] I guess I’m sorta old-school that way. Remember, I came of age with the DJ and all this other stuff, so I’m also loving Grandmaster Flash, and that’s not hip-hop, but... Um, you know, I like Chuck D. And I always thought Snoop Dogg was—he just reminded me of the fellas back home. So I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed him.
Who else?
I like Sinatra. I like old-school. You know, Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Dean Martin. Love Dean Martin. He was one of these guys who just didn’t give an F. He just didn’t. Life was a party, and you either want to party or you don’t. But yeah, I like those. I’m a big Pack Rat. I love the Pack Rats from the 1950s—Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, those guys.
You mean the Rat Pack.
The Rat Pack, yeah."

Saying he was "deeply sorry and ashamed," Bernard Madoff pleaded guilty Thursday to pulling off perhaps the biggest swindle in Wall Street history and was immediately led off to jail in handcuffs to the delight of his seething victims.
DeWitt Baker, an investor who attended the hearing and said he lost more than a million dollars with Madoff, called it "fantastic" that Madoff's bail was revoked but belittled the apology.
"I don't think he has a sincere bone in his body," said DeWitt, who added that prison time would be too good for Madoff.
"I'd stone him to death," he said.

Market rally...
The Dow Jones industrials shot up about 240 points, bringing its gains over the past three days to more than 600 points.
Consumer spending actually increased in February.
I guess this is all thanks to Obama, right?
