when I was younger my pals little sister called me up pretending to be some bird I'd fancied for ages, she wanted to meet me in my local town square and I just so happened to have to walk passed my pal's house en route to my hot date! The fucker jumped out on me at his gate and said, all innocent like, 'where are you going all dressed up like?' and I said, 'that bird I like called me and I'm meeting her in a minute'... to which he said (as his sister jumped out of the bushes) ' OH NO you're NOT, 'cos it was my little sister who called you up you FUD!'.

Get a cheap USB wireless mouse / plug the dongle into the back of his machine, and every time he tries to work, or when things get a bit stressful, move the mouse, it can provide hours of fun, just don't snicker too loud while you do it...

I have to say that, if he has speakers on the computer, cranking the volume and changing the default tones is always a great prank.
change the default error ding to a woman moaning, stuff like that.
