Africans-less-intelligent?

I don't know why this just hit me now... but one interesting point. Many people seem to forget there are lots of white people in Africa...who are Africans. It seems the article talks about Africa like it's all black. So, now I'm wondering if the claim is Africans are less intelligent, or black people.... I assume form the article it's the latter, but they are two very different things.

we are all the same, poor people happen to be less smart because they have less access to things that help you develop your brain than those who are not that poor, kids dont get to play with toys designed to make you smarter, kids actually have to look for food and help their families, they happen to be less inteligent because they are not s evil as the rich people who made them slaves. they are people who are connected to nature and to spiritualism, they have their religion and their own gods, they were victims to people who abused them, people who were attached to material things, people who were capable of taking a human being and torture them and rape them and use them as tools, africans as well as indigeneus people.
that scientist is a descendant of that kind of people, not of african people, and together with his science we live in the world we are at now, right about to end, and still abusing the africans and stealing their resources.
inteligence now equals evilness, we all know that the way to success is to fuck everybody else and stab them in their backs, you iq is based on how evil you are.
im not saying anything bad about people who are not africans, it just happens to be like that, not because of race, but because of culture and geography, and atlantis and lemuria, and colombus and some indian whose name you where never thought at school, its about the guy who invented money and trade, who maybe was african who knows, its all about materialism, so much that he wants to convince people that africans are stupid because he is doing a favor to capitalism.

I think that we are lacking (or simply not using) the vocabulary to discuss this meaningfully nor does it seem that Watson does. There is potential intelligence, knowledge base, pattern recognition etc etc. It is horrifyingly generic to refer to smart or intelligence in any kind of comparison between people or groups.

I don't think any of us have the background to properly debate (well, I know I don't), but I'm always interested in other perspectives that are calm and thought through. This thread has even made me think in a few new ways.

Also one of his statements.
There is a big difference between an opinion, even if it implies that Africans are less intelligent or that Jews are smarter, which is perfectly fine as opposed to a consensus. Consensus is something smart people stay away from and stupid people perpetuate, while usually most of them are based on prejudice.So, basically, rubbish in a broader view. Sorry Watson.

Perhaps there is some truth to that?....
Perhaps we have more developed brains in some cases and they have more developed bodies, I mean black people are amazing athletes whitey doesn't stand a chance in many physical sports compared to the black person?....
I do however think comments like 'ask people with black employees' is pretty harsh and racist, I also like QBN comment about how we measure intelligence that is definatly an issue, but there is always going to be a difference girls can't catch boys can't multitask very well etc. etc. love your differences and strengths don't be ghey and feel undermined by them work out your strengths and focus on them.

Filtering of desired traits.. in other words, finding a suitable mate in your genepool which possesses the traits to bring you a lot of healty offspring and is able to take care of you. And as the desired traits might differ between locations and civilisations it's not that strange to think that isolated groups might have a lesser developed intelligence, simply because there was a lesser need for it.
In western civilisations, being intelligent is considered a good trait among most groups. Lesser intelligent people will often value intelligence less as well. But physical strength or having a good stamina is not as important here (western civilisation). And partners will less likely be chosen upon those traits opposed to many places of Africa.

I'm just curious to know what tests he's performed that lead him to this conclusion. You couldn't give a white Canadian and a white American the same 10 questions and not get answers that are influenced by their individual cultures (right or wrong). So how is he able to determine that Westerners are smarter than Africans when the cultural differences are so vast?

I agree with the point mentioned in the video insert by the Englishman. But to add to that, intelligence has mainly become a huge social contract for cultural assimilation. High standards of Europe have been at the helm in defining what objectivity and value is. Partly due to Europe's many attempts to reign imperial for centuries; violently imposing on the world, it's languages, leadership, and culture. For the non-European, a tough pill to swallow.
So language... How it's used over continents, cultures, races, in my opinion, is the primary scale everything can be judged upon. A misspelled word, a verbal flaw, and a noticeable communication gap; are noticed as that by a larger number within the population. But let's forget obvious toll of imposed colonialism.
The key issue is assimilation. Control. Herd-ism. That's the big picture. African's fail to realize that the European shunned, chaotic and improvisational approach to life is the womb of life. There is something larger at play.
