I'm going to disagree w/ gramme (sorry). I think it's not totally your fault, but there is some of it that is. It sounds like there should have been better communication overall. Better understanding of work load and deadlines and education. With that being said, was the client happy? If they were, then there isn't any fault at all..... of course I say that not knowing much about the situation, so it's hard to judge really.
I wouldn't worry about it, it's one site. Take the lessons and keep moving.
- thx, i'll keep that in mind. I guess a lack of experience plays into the situation as well as crappy circumstancessoynutz7

Correct answer: it's not just your fault. Happens all the time that a client comes with loads of changes for yesterday or it's never happy and can't really find where the problem is and since your concept is quite strong you too can't find as well where is the problem. So you end up scraping parts trying to accommodate him
and bit by bit the projects transform itself in something different. Plus if the deadline is tight and the amends are a lot you end up with something totally messed up.
It's not your case, but just 2 days ago a client just decided that a project that went exactly that route won't go live. The reason? The imagery wasn't fit for the product as desired. But they signed off for the whole concept, storyboards and the imagery 2 months ago.
Who's the fault here?
So, just carry on.

I would like to add that its a "more than decent" site with alot of high technology and although its not an A+, your circumstances were not ideal.

Anythoughts on the other site? http://rhitv.com/

You can always blame everything on lack of communication, that, in a corporate environment is a given.
If your company plays the "blame game" and you are the design lead, then yes, in theirs or someones eyes, you may be "blamed" because the production team could not execute your work in a timely manner.
I wouldn't worry about it too much, the site is pretty nice, the intro is a bit painful and slow but it will make a nice portfolio piece. As for the corporate infighting, you're just going to have to outlast the idiots...

So... average grade on the site?
