I like it..
I read "B." and it reminds me of a thought balloon

I like it.. But only if it says '8' or 'B'
If it says 8 I would love the period after. And I don't know about the 4 different sizes of curved corners in the middle area. I would stick to 1 or two sizes.

i like it, but i also just see the B... i wouldnt have really seen the E unless you said it

I like it here, I don;t like it encapsulated on your weberist though. Having said I like it... and I do... this to me represents where me and design could no longer live together. Its very much 'of the world of contemporary design' which is to say its familar, and reminiscent of the work of all the 'top tier' design companies. It says nothing differnt or unique to me, it says "I'm in the cool club too like those other people in the design press". It all seems to be about bloated geometric shapes that have padded out from letterforms but with rounded corners. And Black and White.
Its nice, I just get nostalgic for the days when the business climate made it okay to be a bit more idiosynctratic.
- you may not be familiar with the word "idiosynctratic". Its a top-tier word.Studiospooky
- Well said.
If I'm honest - idiosyncratic is harder to do well. ;)Concrete - Also if you intend on showing off your polysyllabic vocabulary at least get the spelling right.Concrete
- That was my point! I spelled it wrong! It was... oh never mind.Studiospooky

I like it. It might look slightly better if the curved "indent" was a bit more pronounced? not sure

its nice but i'm not getting a clean enough read on the E/B

i would make all the rounded edges the same radius... but thats just me... i think jonatne was hinting at that too

i like it as a shape. but not when i realise it is trying to read E B. the e shape then becomes horrible.

Thanks gents. Keep it coming.

damn you, how did you know I was working on a logo featuring a knocked out letterform? I like the direction you are going in, but the "E" is lost on me.
get out of my head!

I like it, but the dot is throwing me a bit. maybe lose it?

seems too forced to me. it says artistic more than anything else, like logic, ability to communicate etc.

The thing about the dot is that it makes you read it vertical, which eliminates the E and points you more in the direction of an 8.
- Corvo0
i like the form - but it doesn't convey the idea of stability matching En Bloc.

The thing about the first version is that as it was that much more abstracted, at an angle and mitt dot, it got away with not looking exactly like an E and a B. Now the 8 dominates, beyond the allowance benefited by the serendipitous exploit of our present-found annum.
I have here replaced insight with nonsense.
