been playing off and on for about 12 years now. I love it but I still don't think I'm any good.
Here's a description of my latest purchase:
http://flickr.com/photos/downfor…I also own a big baby taylor (highly recommend), a squire-strat, and a custom-built charvel-jackson floyd rose that was given to me by a family friend.

How many guitar players does it take to screw in a light bulb?
One... and 10 to talk about how they could have done it better.
- or complain about how he doesn't screw it in as well now that he's off drugs!ItTango
- Haha...but it'll always take more drummers to screw in lightbulbs, because...well...TheBlueOne

I'd also like to make this statement:
"Just because you play Guitar Hero doesn't make you one."
Thank you.

I've been playing for 15 odd years, and picked up bass about 3 years ago. I now play (mostly bass) in a shoegaze band: http://www.myspace.com/lovestere…
Bass:
Epiphone Thunderbird (non-reverse body)Guitars:
Maton Mastersound MS500
Maton 1963 Fyrbyrd
Fender Telecaster
Epiphone J200 AcousticPlus some custom built amps, and a fuck load of pedals.
Here's a pic of a Fyrbyrd. Not mine, but same kind - mine is red with a black pickguard. Awesome find, they only made them like that for 1 year.
- They say Keith Richards used a Maton on Midnight RamblerAndyRoss

I've been playing for around 5 years.. wish i'd started earlier really, but hey. I play a Fender Tele and a dodgy strat copy, i want a real strat one day, id like a nice sunburst 1962 strat.. a little too expensive though.

Only about 2 years.. kinda on and off.. but still rockin' it!
play a 'dodgy' SG copy... One day I'd rather like a Firebird V.
Played Bass for a bit too, but sold that for beer money.

I want to get a dobro guitar and hit the road as a vagabound blues player. I want an old black guy who plays harp to follow me around and say crazy things like "What are you all about boy? A crazy white boy from Loooong Island thinking he can play the blues. Shit...."
And then I'll say, "I ain't from Long Island old man..." and hit a E7#9 chord...
And then hilarious misadventures will occur with all sorts of rednecks, crackers, chicks in daisy dukes and a rapper from Chi-town who discovers his blues roots....
