can i just say that i am enjoying all of these camera/photography related threads on nt right now.
i'm just going through folders and folders of photos right now and it's so refreshing to read this type of stuff and see such excellent work (especially in v6 thread about tilt-shift).
many thanks.
and on a side note: i know i mentioned it before but why haven't either of you (jeff and justin) wanted to take part in the photo exchange? probably too busy i guess...

(Sep 18 07, 19:18)understandable, but the real reason for the photo exchange (at least it was my main reason for starting it) was just to get a snapshot into other people's lives. it has never really mattered if your shots were 'professional' at all. hell, the exchange has weilded all sorts of photographs! everything from a polaroid insta-matic to a digital transfer of an old film shot, to a full-on studio setup with pro lighting and stylists.
as i said above, the main reason for starting this was just to get a snapshot into other people's lives across the planet.
no worries though. i'm not trying to sell the idea to you to get you to join, even if it sounds like that is what i am doing :)
all in fun. plain and simple.

I recon you should sign up too, we need more reliable exchangers.
Generally what you find interesting enough to take a photo of, other people find interesting to receive in the mail.
I got a photo of a freeway overpass from OSFA and it like it a lot.
