Hey all! Im leaving for new york this weekend and was wondering if any of you have suggestions on some cool ass bars/ places to eat/ shows.. blah blah blah. Thank you!

in Astoria, Queens the best Greek restaurant in all of NYC...

its all BBQ and super fresh.
i reconmend the country style greek salad with feta cheese and lemon potatoes and either chicken kabob or one of the fish dishes.the price is amazing as well...go and get stuffed!!

i was just there. just use these:
http://www.superfuture.comthe places that were good to eat were grimaldi's pizza, cube63 sushi, some belgian beer bar that just had a red light at the door, some other place that had long benches and had good food and great beer selection, some other places i remember even less, and then barcade. and you can't beat 2 egg on a roll at any corner market.
sorry, i'm not much help! we went so many places that the details kinda get all mixed up :\
also this is cool (much more so for females) but, http://www.themarketnyc.com is a designers market that happens every weekend.

I love any kinda of food especialllly japanese! I love hip cool places, and bars that are either super stylish or hole in the wall jazz bars, or bars with awesome music..photo booths.
Ill be in NY with my sister..we are young and hip and we also both love vintage indie clothing places..we cant afford super expensive clothes. haha. SO places in shop in soho... any recommendations? i hope this helps
