I bribed my way in to Glastonbury a couple of years back.
I say 'bribed' - I tried to, at least.
I had some non-named tickets for people who were working for us who needed getting in - flashed a wodge of cash and made the poor attendant quite fretful - he let us in without incident, or payment.

Bribery is the natural way to do things ie. in commie (and post-commie) countries.
Quite recently I bribed a saleswoman in an (obviously) state owned home appliances store in La Habana, Cuba.
She gave me some sellotape I desperately needed to temporarily mend my backpack. I gave her a set of 4 ballpoints, which cost me €1.50 here and were a commodity there.
The sellotape was duct-tape wide, with the company logo on it. She couldn't've just given me a roll, like any store clerk in "normal" world would. She had to rewind it to a piece of carton for me, because empty tape rolls were counted.
I held the original roll on my side of the counter, she rolled on the carton. We'd get closer as she rolled it and every few seconds I'd unwind some more of the tape, so we'd move away from each other again. Then we'd get closer as she rolled her part.. and so on. That was weird, it took good 2-3 minutes of that weird movement and I got more than half of the big roll from her in the end.
