I would love love love to be seeing another designer as long as we didnt work in the same place.
I starting dating my wife though while I was finishing high school though and neither of us knew what we were going to do for a crust.
Shit, I'll go and find the NT blog sorry.

relationships are about love and support and fun, not about competition. get your artistic inspiration from the normal channels, not your mate. the breakup rate for similar artist couples is probably like 90+%.

that suks to know, as my wife and myself are in the exact same industry...
- slappy0
he said "probably" meaning he made up a stat on the spot.
Your trendy love is safe for now :)

ha yeah i must say my best friend is in a healthy relationship with his wife, both designers. but i'm skeptical is all.

well...things have been different lately...
is extreme competition within a relationship a harder traveled path than to people who have compeltely different loves and works career??

Is she really proud of the work? Maybe a committee stepped in and pushed the design to dilution. Sometimes it's how it is.
How would you feel if her work was fifty times better than your own? Would you feel inadequate?
I suppose it's not like she worships another religion than you, but good to hear things are well otherwise.

Dude, it's her work, her job – not yours. What the fuck has it got to do with you?
Are you her boss?
Don't be so fucking pig headed.

I cant insult you I would probably do the same thing. I hate people that do bad design so I could definitely not date a bad designer.

My missus is a Fashion designer and were I can I slag her work/designs. That's because she is so fucking good it's rare and makes me feel better
Plus if she asks for my opinon - i'm honest

i think people who are good at their jobs are sexy.
if they're not, it's kind of a turn-off. but that's just me.

Thats cause you guys are normal Dancer and she is cool enough to take critisism and you I'd imagine are likewise, however if you sit thinking about wanting to dump a girl cause you don't like some of her designs then your a bozo deluxe.
My lady is going to brush up on her fashion and sewing and things like that in the next month or two she's going back to uni, do you mind if I email you or your lady asking her a couple of questions... if you can't be arsed with the hasstle then I understand yo!! :)

I agree, if he looks to hold back on his opinion about her work then surely the relationship isn't that good anyway. I give an opinion whether asked or not. But heh I'm an opinionated sod anyway.
Yeah I will email her to let her know you/your missus will mail her in due course. You've met her though haven't you?
Will send over her address at Lunch
- chossy0
yeah boyee I met her in the cafe when you were up that time but I'm not about to go and fire off emails without asking you first and letting her know in advance yo!
- kelpie0
I once dumped a chick for being shit at chess. chess matters, yo.
- kelpie0
