That's the exact reason I don't date designers.
Basically, you just need to learn to critique well.
Ask her what she thinks about it and discuss the situation. It could be that she was directed by a bad AD or something. Or maybe she just hated the project or was in a bad mood.Or, she sucks.
If she sucks, you should probably just break up with her.

bang her a couple of more times, then break up with her. if her work bugs you now, wait until 2 months from now. seriously, you're not going to be able to put the way you feel aside. if you're a designer, then you're critiquing the menus when you go out to eat, the p.o.p. displays at the dept. store, masking jobs on the cover of Us magazine while you're waiting in line at the grocery store... and now you're in a position when you have to fake like you like someone's work because you're worried about offending her. either tell her how you feel and see what happens or just break it off now and go find a new chick; there's millions of em out there.
