give her all the support you can. there's no time for blame now.

say what you will, but i'm sure she's more scared, sad, crying concerned with how everyone is judging her now
it's too bad that she is in an environment where your opinions come before her health and safety
that has got to be the hardest part for her to deal with.

she's pregnant. not dead
but for a seventeen year old, living in a religious household, it's worse than death because it means dishonor for the rest of your life with your family..sounds harsh but i feel for her, it never happened to me but she needs support and to stay strong...

(Jul 16 07, 10:11)her childhood is at least
possibly her hopes of finishing school and going off to college
if she was 27... different story. she's 17.

Remember to talk to her about her options at this point and just be there for her.
Good luck :)

17 is practically an adult here.
No wonder she's worried though - everyone saying sorry an all.

kona has lost hope
i know several young women who've had kids "too soon"
the life they lead isn't supposed to be compared to the life she had lived before, what's important is the child
judging life and it's ways should in no way ever be compared to the way we judge one another's attitude or graphic work.
for respect of the aforementioned sister, as she is underage, it would be quite awesome if QBN were to delete this thread and allow the family to continue on.

:)
no problem,
get your arms around your family, keeping the baby or not it's cause for reassurance and good family support and guidance.

also is she sure she's got a wee bun in the oven as she might have just eaten too much at the chicken and waffle house?.....

i would assume you won't be angry with her - that's why she told you first. personally, i would explore all of her options for her, making you the expert that she can turn to to help her make an educated decision. best of luck.

(Jul 16 07, 10:31)I completely agree. May be a huge burden, but the positives of doing this will most likely outweigh the negatives.

in addition to this wait a couple of days seen as like I said she just might have a big assed appetite yo!!

I just want to say a huge thank you to all of you. It might sound kinda cheesy but I'm glad we can rally to support each other when one of us is in need.
I can see this going so many ways and I can already see some of the possible secondary consequences and I'm hopeful and scared to death for her and the family altogether at the same time. This is when its hard to be so far away.
Thanks again to all of you.
