Some of you people are completely insane and way too bitter. The movie was AWESOME. It was ACTION packed from the get-go, the effects are jaw-dropping, there was not a lot of emo crap and the movie was a blast to watch. I think that U.S. Army did pay a shit load of money to appear incredibly high tech, Apple spent a shit load of money to advertise themselves again with hardware and Chevy, come on. But this is the business and it didn't take away from the quality of the movie.
I've noticed a trend. Very young kids who never saw Transformers before as I did for example (grew up watching Transformers) are talking crap about the movie and it is competely unfounded.
The people who actually know the whole story behind it, freakin' LOVED it, like I did.
The story is well narrated, the acting was ok, nobody is going to get an Oscar but it wasn't bad at all. I only wish they toned down the humor a bit. It was WAY too funny, almost like a comedy at certain moments and it took away from seriousness of the situation they were all in.
Otherwise 5 out of 5. A true summer blockbuster that doesn't dissapoint.

that was awesome, great action movie. granted the dialog was snakes on a plane good and I could have done without all of OPs freedom preaching, but still: awesome action movie. I wonder what the sequel will be about.

i had really low expectations. and even if they were high, they would've still been blown away. story 7. special effects, 11 out of 10. wow.

Seen it twice now. A very wicked show. It ain't Dostoevsky, but the action blew me away.
