the script was boring, the acting was terrible and I wanted to leave half way through the movie

I thought the autobots were hilarious. The scene with the house and looking for the glasses and Optimus making everyone hide was great.

Saw it last night with a couple friends... LOVED IT!... pretty damn funny and non-stop action... going to see it again tonight with the fiance... she was jealous last night cause she had to stay home with the baby...
As much as I dislike Michael Bay as a director... he really did a good job with this movie, all while making fun of a few of his other movies.
Anywho... off to find a huge Decepticon decal for the hood of my Volvo and see if I can get it customized to transform into a robot that kicks some mean car thief ass.

Check out the killer limited edition FCUK Transformers hoodie I bought while in Boston:
It's like robot camo! :D or looks like something Josh Davis might have made with his Flash gadgets.
They also had t-shirts, and one was black with silver-foil print of the graphics on the tag:
It was cool, but my GF thought it would be a bit temporary and not that cool later on.
Anyhow, that hoodie wasn't cheap but ended up being the coolest thing they had.

I want to buy a lot of GMC vehicles now. Seemed like the longest advertisement ever. Bad acting and CGI sells.

saw it last night. and i'm in agreement with the majority here - it was funny, entertaining, and the efx (sound+visual) were amazing. i was actually expecting a lot of cheesy-lame dialog, and a lot of action.
there were some parts that were kind of so-so. but, that was expected... spoilers*
scenes with the vocal transmission and the hot girl saying that it was organic computing and stuff were kinda lame... but, then they had the FBI bust in on those two hacker guys. hilarious. eating ALL the doughnuts too. ha
also, the inevitable huge fight scene at the end seemed a little too long... it almost seemed tacked on. but, this could be because i saw it so late. and was exhausted.
overall though, an amazing film. and the "eh-ough-aagh-oogh-ks sht" noise and efx together does bring chills.
i remember making that noise spitting all over the place transforming my bots back in the day.

the movie is awesome! i couldn't believe it i was expecting a lame movie with lots of action but instead got to see an awesome movie with lots of action! and most of the funny moments were actually funny.
there was some cheesy moments, but doesn't every action flick have those??
i'd say 8 out of 10

people who say the dialog was crap, really need to remember this is based of a 1980's cartoon....it has too be corny!!!
the whole damn theater cheered when the big guy transformed and said:
"I am Optimus Prime"

I enjoy sci-fi, action, etc... Transformers was to campy, the acting really sucked... along with the script, Spielberg and Bay should be sent to Iraq for bad movie making, absolutely nothing orginal about this glorified cartoon.
