Just saw it tonight - my GF won some advanced screening passes.
So entertaining, I won't give anything away, but there's so much that I didn't expect. It's funny, it's amusing, it's action-packed, just kick ass.
Will probably go see it again. All the transformers doing their thing is completely awesome.

Like I said, won't give anything away... it's just very amusing.
Some jerkoff at the end of the movie was going "The dialog sucked!"
I wanted to say "it's not The Princess Bride, prick." No action movie like that has good dialog. Did Armageddon? Did Independance Day?

my bro saw it and is raving about it... and i dont know anyone who was looking forward to this movie more than my brother... he's a big time comic book and anime geek and he had high expectations for the movie and it blew him away.
i cant wait now to see it.

so many scenes that make you go AWWWWWWWWWW!!
and it's full of itself, in a good way. it makes fun of itself.
Also, f@king bad ASS sound design. Which often tends to be overlooked, but it makes this movie.

btw, that comes with the assumption you realize it's completely vacuous. Of course it is. What do you expect? But tell me you don't like the way that F-14 transforms in midair and slams down to the ground with huge robot feet. I mean what are you really there to see?

Michael Bay is a cock. It killed me to see his name on this thing.
But saw a trailer on Friday and Otimus Prime transformed with the sound fx from the cartoon (or similar) and I got a shiver up my spine.
I really dont want this film to suck donkey balls.

and for the record, as a big childhood transformers fan, I expect this to be utter rubbish which fails on just about every level, including cool transforming robot effects.
but we'll see.
