Hey man - would you care to elaborate on why? Just looking for info on them really...I know they do great work - just wondering what it's like to work there....

seem to run through people pretty quickly...at least of late.

I have friend who have worked there and say the place is a sweat shop. They don't care about big ideas and good concepts over there, they just want to pump out work.
- MrD0
they are good shop
only thing is that they are a web shop
not an idea shop / ad shop
- jevad0
so...being a web shop..means you can't have ideas? No concepts allowed?
ftw

(Apr 16 07, 20:48)concepts are not about how its design but more campaign ideas. since most web shops do site builds (not campaign focused).
also, if there is a site build, its based on a above the line campaign from ad agency, so you dont get to play with big idea.
if there was an online campaign only, the strategy would still be in most cases still done by above the line team.

sounds dull

what engage said.

But then why would you...
...post presumptious and borderline slanderous material about a design agency?..
- Crouwel0
haha

That place seems like a revolving door.

i think they've done some good work on amex, aol, samsung, etc.
i think there's no agency that's perfect. any agency has it's strength and weakness. it's just matter of what you are willing to put up with.

Is this in respect to Digitas...or are you speaking in general terms here?
- tkmeister0
that statement goes for many interactive agencies. the above the line comes up with the BIG Idea, then interactive shops will execute the campaign concepet. many web shops are execution shop. it's just nature of business.
that doesn't mean you can't be creative. there is still a lot of room to play. you just aren't coming up with, let's say Bud's Wasssup campaign. you'll be more likely to help support that campaign that's developed by above the line team.
