and i'm not a hick. i live in one of the country's most dangerous cities and have had a gun pulled on more than one occasion. i could guantee that any law would have done nothing to change either event, because i know for a fact that they do not sell guns to minors.

yes the gun was bought legally. he even kept the receipt. you dont need a license to buy a gun in virginia and the backgrond checks are perfunctory

Good grief - in art school... the game art kidz drew nothing but gore scenes and only hung out w/each other... i suppose they should have all been flagged too?

people buy guns for lots of reasons, peer pressure probably being the main one.
I see what you guys are saying, if there were no guns here there would be less of this, but the cat is out of the bag.
I'm not proud of my stance on it and I see lots of republicans using the same logic to deny global warming. And that troubles me. My thinking is it is a problem that cannot be solved, there are like a billion guns in america. Where would you begin?
I just think that criminals will have guns anyway, because if you take care of them they will last 100 years. so joe sixpack should have the same access.
