What is he the riddler?
- Jaline0
He got in trouble for stalking women around campus too?
Whaaa...
See, these are things I would report, but it's really hard to say that it would lead him to shoot all those innocent people. I can't believe people are saying that he should've been watched more carefully.

should we monitor Michael Jackson? Hes probably already being monitored anyways...

I don't believe, at this point, you will get any information that is close to truth.
So I try not to listen to the news.

Yeah but Michael Jackson is white.
Obviously Koreans are the problem here.
Nothing at all to do with guns.

Ireland: no guns easily available: Never been a school shooting. England: no guns easily available: Maybe one or two shootings. The list goes on.
People get pissed off and they use the gun because it's ready and loaded.
Ok this guy could have built a bomb but by then he'd probably calmed down and decided to just go get drunk instead.

there were 2 shootings in germany here - no guns available.
they really seemed like copycats from US shootings, since germans tend to copy everything coming from US very unconsidered
- kelpie0
1 shooting here, gun laws overhauled, gun users piss and moan, no more shootings, legit gun owners still able to shoot clay pigeons and targets etc.
culture of gun use = danger of gun use. QED.

By a writer here:
"Ultimately, there are no lessons to be learned. When you live in an open society, there are endless opportunities to do what this student did".
- Jaline0
At the very least, people should be asked specific questions before they purchase a gun.
Not that this guy wouldn't have hurt other people anyway, but it's a reasonable thought.
I mean, here, you are asked about what medication you're taking, depression, etc, etc. before you are allowed to have anything.

putting the gun argument aside (and yes, obviously relaxed gun laws and its concomitant gun culture has a significant impact on the likelihood of these acts)
putting that aside. There is no background check, or medical history that could prevent something like this. There is no gene there is no bacterium that you can pinpoint that you can say will cause someone to shootup a school.
the disease is a social one. It's the AMERICAN Meme of wild rampage. A sociopath is a narcissist who cares too much for his own life. This is the action of a man who has no self-worth and sees in the action of others that going out in a blaze of glory is the only way to recapture his own validity.
Copy-cat killers. Aren't they all?

(Apr 18 07, 00:33)koreans are the problem???!!
you are wrong.
asians are the problem, let me rephrase that..people with black straight hair that like rice, no matter their race, are propense to do something like this.
just following your thinking process.. makes no sense at all but hey, I have to say something
- Jaline0
Yes, nothing can help to predict this sort of thing, obviously.
I'm just laughing at those people who say that it's the media's fault. Because it's always a combination of various things, and then probably one event to trigger the outlandish behaviour.

He sent a video tape to NBC in the 2 hour time window between both sets of shootings. Fucking wild.
- Mimio0
They should have seen this one coming. Plenty of chances.
- studderine0
