They need to come up with some new stuff

Sawyer is my homeboy :)

Lost actually has a lot of top-notch writers on the show now, most of whom where from cancelled shows (and those are usually the best shows).

So apparently Juliet is a ninja.
I appreciated all of the hotness of the Juliet + Kate handcuffed-ness from last episode. Why, there was even something close to mud wrestling!
- joyride0
just watched that myself... I kept wishing for a quick kiss while they were in the tree, but it didn't happen =(
Personally, I think they need to end the show this season, it's starting to lose my attention. More stuff needs to happen, more secrets revealed, etc.
- Jaline0
I swear, Kate fell asleep on Juliet's shoulder, hahaha. Or something like that...they were awfully close to each other during one scene...but then while waking up Kate is further away (and Juliet is wide awake).
Tomorrow night should be very interesting with Juliet's back story being developed more. I find her to be boring, yet compelling. I don't know...I think Kate has let me down as a character so I'm looking to someone else. Someone who gets more screentime, such as Juliet.
Who's Claire again?
- Jaline0
Whoa, Juliet totally IS conning them.
I kept thinking that Juliet's research would eventually reach Sun's pregnancy, and I'm sure something will be connected with her pregnancy in the future. Maybe the Others already know that she's pregnant? Since they know everything about everyone. But either way, Kate didn't tell Juliet for good reason.
I was also waiting for Juliet to tell Jack and Claire being his sister, but obviously Juliet has other things on her mind right now.
I really don't know what side she'll end up being on by the end. It's hard to say. Although Ben seems to be the stronger one at all times.
Claire's going to be messed up.

tha f?

sorry about that one..
btw, I found the book Lost reminds me of: The Magus by John Fowles. and of course, Treasure Island by Verne
they're exploiting the coolest myths
- Jaline0
aww...so Juliet does hate working for Ben. And she told Sun the truth. I thought she was lying at first.
She's going to get Kate's samples next? WTF? That totally sounds like a porno.
- Jaline0
By the way, I really like these back stories because they also reveal the acting abilities of each actor. The actors make their characters seems very jaded on the island, and understandably so (especially Juliet since she's been there forever), but when we saw her flashback (and also Sun's), you can tell that the actresses can actually act.
I'm impressed with the casting.
(P.S. I need some synonyms for "act")

Now THAT was a good episode. I wish the whole season had been better, but I have a feeling that these season ending eps. are going to be awesome.

I think the latter part of this season has been pretty damn good.
This one was REALLY predictable though, since most people already guessed that Locke's dad was the guy Sawyer has been after. When Locke says that he can't kill "Ben" and Sawyer will have to do it, you can just tell by his eyes that he is too connected to the person in question to actually kill him. Therefore it was easy to guess that the guy would actually be his father.
But I am glad that he didn't cop out from killing the guy. At first I was worried about Juliet finding out about Naomi, but now that Sawyer is going to reveal the truth it'll get more interesting.
The ideas that Locke's father about them being stuck in Hell is also interesting, since I'm sure the writers are playing on ideas already presented by the fans watching the show.

One mystery solved:
'Lost' to end in 2010'By Gary Levin
USA TODAY
May 7, 2007The end is in sight for ABC's acclaimed island mystery Lost, but fans will have to wait until 2010 for all the answers.
In a highly unusual move, the network announces plans today to end the show after three more shortened seasons of 16 episodes each. The episodes will air consecutively, repeat-free, from February to May.
ABC's bold step marks a response to the show's producers, who have been eager to set a finish line to better plot out their convoluted mystery of plane-crash survivors and to placate fans who are frustrated that the show seemed to be vamping its way to a conclusion.
"Among fans there was an unease that they were making an investment in a show that's complicated without any sense of where that's going to lead them," co-creator Damon Lindelof said in an exclusive interview. "From the very beginning, fans and even critics have been saying, 'Are you making it up as you go along?' " which was "a legitimate question."
Now, with a still far-away ending in sight, Lindelof says he and executive producer Carlton Cuse have "specific designs for ending the next two seasons" and promises that with the answer-filled season finale May 23, viewers "will begin to get an idea of what that design will be, and it will not be at all what they expect."
The finale completed filming in Hawaii on Saturday, a day after Lindelof and Cuse signed new contracts that will keep them working on Lost exclusively for the duration. With 48 more episodes due, the show will have completed 60% of its planned six-season run.
"It's practically unprecedented in network TV to announce the end of a show this far out," Cuse says.
ABC Entertainment president Steve McPherson says the unusual long-term commitment is "a unique situation" he would be unlikely to repeat for other series. "It's one of the best shows that's ever been on," he says. "It's got brilliant storytelling, incredible character work, and takes chances beyond anything that's on the air now."
With Desperate Housewives, Lost re-energized ABC in fall 2004 and became a top 10 series. But after two time-slot switches, interruptions for low-rated repeats and a mystery that tried the patience of some fans, Lost has lost some steam. Ratings are down about 14% this season, though Lost still ranks highly among young adults and is the most heavily recorded show on DVRs.
McPherson concedes that splitting the current third season in two "was not the best for the show" and says the network also is discussing a return to an earlier time slot to draw more family viewership.
Shorter seasons will allow plots to be more tightly constructed and "will make it a real event," Lindelof says. "We won't have to do episodes where people are standing on the beach looking at the water and wondering what's going to happen next."
Will Lost risk losing fans' interest with an eight-month lag? "People wait longer than eight months for the next books and films in the Harry Potter story and they don't seem to lose interest," Cuse says. "We have faith that our audience, knowing exactly how much of the story we have left, is going to be with us for the rest of the ride."
But, Lindelof says, "the last five minutes of (this month's) finale are going to seal our fate."
(Just so you can all plan ahead)

I actually thought 22-24 episodes for two more seasons would be too much, but now that it's actually 16 episodes for three more seasons it could work out well. Still seems a bit much though.
I'm glad the producers/creators are using their brains and are ending this show before it gets old for everyone. I'm enjoying the last half of this season, I must admit.
- qruise0
wow, thanks for that. im pretty pissed that its going to be 3 more seasons. i thought it would just be 1, maybe 2,
well, whatev, the last few episodes have been great.
- Ramanisky20
that was about the worst thing I could read about this show
3 more seasons
gooooood gaaaaaawd
the shows premise is getting old for me
- joyride0
I'm pretty sure I will not be watching until the last few episodes. The show is good, but I would rather read some recaps and watch the finale... just to watch it.
I no longer get excited on wednesday for the show, I set the dvr, and almost have to force myself to sit and watch it each week cuz I forget.
