yeah, man, not enough changes...get rid of the audio, re-do completely after doing alot of graphic design research...
Try reading "Stop Stealing Sheep" too, thats a good type book...hope thats of some help to you...you seem to be rushing this design and not putting your heart into it...when people do this it shows

man, i;ve been reading this thread. and i think you should redesign a whole thing all together. this design doesn't work, then create a new concept. this is like you try to redesign yahoo website...
keep it more simple and clean. pay attention to typography. this Method html site is still a good design than some other flashy website today. http://www.method.com/site_v2/in…
goodluck.

Sorry,
I cannot agree that the Method html site is good. The anti-aliased white-on-black type is very blurry, and hard to read.
This page in particular looks dreadful: http://www.method.com/site_v2/me…
What is it you find good in their typography?
I don't understand where you're coming from at all.

sorry but the music alone is worth closing the window
- wendog0
it looks modern...agreed that the type is hard to read on that page, but overall font selection and layouts are much more up to date that your site
- kyl30
try some music like that on this site

Andy Ross site redesign
I just completed a redesign of my site using Flash.
AndyRoss
(nov 03 06, 09:51)Umm, looks the same as it did a few days ago minus the shitty intro. I would start over, but not until reading a book or two on typography, the font you use is fugly and there is no visual hierarchy. The two typography books recommended above are awesome. Read them ASAP.
- wendog0
why dont u just re-do it? Arent you passionate about design?

what?

I'm sorry Wendog, but I'm not willing to completely scrap the site. A substantial portion of the reason for building it in the first place was demonstrate my skills with Flash animation, to appeal to specific clients/relationships I've been trying to cultivate. (Hence the business side/aesthetic side split, which I intend to elaborate on in further iterations on the aesthetic side.)And, those reactions have been very positive, and I seem to be getting some paying work out of the new site.
Now, if you have specific suggestions of changes I can make to the existing site--like a solution to the body font problem--I'm happy to listen. And, you know, please have the courtesy to use full words, and actual punctuation in your posts, so it doesn't seem like you're a teenager trying to run a functioning adult down some rat-hole.
Believe it or not, I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on much of what I have here, and I happen to like it quite a bit myself, so I'm not going back to square one.
And you can save your bandwidth about suggesting again that I start over.
cheers,
Andy

Jevad,
Yes, I agree, their must be a better solution to t he body font problem. Can you suggest a specific font that would fit with the rest of the site, and solve the legibility problem?
cheers,
Andy

I agree, punctuation is key.
- wordssssss0
and your site needs to be redesigned. I agree with that too.
- AndyRoss0
You think my site needs to be redesigned because of punctuation problems?
Typographic problems?
Grid problems?
Balance problems?
Unity problems?
Perspective problems?
Color contrast problems?
Why do you say my site needs to be redesigned?
- kyl30
andy, just use verdana set to bitmap, its the new bank gothic
- jevad0
DIN mittleschrift
