you're either boring or fun as fuk in canada, and of coarse you'll meet way more fun people because it's in their nature...and it's really only winter 4-5 months a year and that does not mean blistering igloo weather it just means it's 'fuck it snowed again' or 'fuck the wind chill is freezing my ears off' weather, no biggie...and if you really hate the weather go to toronto and complain with all the immigrants on the bus
- M0NEYCIDE0
and leafs are playing like shite.
- Jaline0
I'm scared of taking the bus in Toronto. I'm too whitewashed.

we ve had this discussion before...however...we will see in the playoffs...

I think it's better when everyone thinks the Sens suck because then there's less pressure and they perform better.
a bit insecure, they are

Hey Negativespace, check your mail.

funny i feel the same about the leafs...when i was a kid we were allways crap...i tended to follow the jays more but then they won the world series two years in a row after i moved to uk so dont like them anymore : (

The Sens were shite before 2001. I was born in Toronto but moved here at a young age so I never got the chance to get into the Leafs. But whenever the Sens are out, I usually root for another Canadian team to win, even the Leafs.

well at the mo all teams i support are crap so i ve become a glory supporter:
Rugby: New Zealand
Cricket: Australia
Football: Brazilthat of course doesnt apply to Canadian/us sports as not reallly in touch with them anymore...

bottom line is: Which city has the hottest chicks?
Point5
(Jan 15 07, 13:04)Its too cold for livestock in canada. We have to import chickens and their babies.

Ross, where do you work? Or are you a full time muso?

(Jan 15 07, 13:04)montreal is the city of chicks but toronto has an exclusive variety of hot asian/south american hybrids

All you Torontonians who think Vancouver sucks are hilarious.
Toronto is cold as hell in the winter, stupid humid hot in the summer and lame inbetween. Plus...you guys don't have an ocean OR mountains. What fun is that?
I work downtown with an ocean and mountain view and regularly leave early to go snowboarding at night. REAL snowboarding...not Eastern Canada snowboarding.
If you're fat and lazy, choose Toronto. If you are cool and like the outdoors, choose BC.

Yup, I tell no lies - it's not easy. The amount of paperwork they ask for is ridiculous, even down to letters from your family saying how nice you are and loads of family photographs, police records, interviews, strict medicals...
You don't need to use a lawyer but it might be worth considering for the peace of mind knowing they understand the whole process.
The best source of information I've found is http://www.britishexpats.com/ There are loads of people who've been through it there and will probably tell you everything you need to know.
I'm going through the motions in the US right now and it's nowhere near as difficult or as expensive (1/10th as much) and it takes a fraction of the time.
- M0NEYCIDE0
and i'm sure the hot asian spoiled white rich chick variety run amuk in vancity

5timuli - I'm going through it all now. Took about 3 months to get together all the info - sent off our app last Jan got our AOR in Feb 06. Told not to expect a response for 39 months which will take us to March 2009. So right now trying to find a job to improve my chances and hopefully speed up the process a little. Even that will probably take most of this year getting approved job offers and then a work permit etc etc.
You really have to want to go, that's for sure.
