Ah, an interesting thread about design!
Well I think it's busy but works. It stands out and presents the dynamic (not just in the flash sense) way. Good thinking out of the box here. Maybe toning down the color would make it seem less busy.

looking at it a bit more it seems to be taking the look of a kids cartoon site...even though that isn't their target audience.
it's interesting, but i'm not sure it really fits...

feels a bit Nick@Nite-ish to me... it has that whole jet-set/slightly vintage feel...
... very busy... content packed...
... lots to click... lots going on... very 'full' and energetic...
... but still feels like Nick@Nite and a lil less contemporary than I would expect Bravo to be.
