My dad makes my lunch for me about half the week (lol), and I make the rest since I don't like getting up early. But I also sometimes make my lunch the night before (if it's possible).
Buying lunch is okay too but make sure to eat healthy at least 80% of the time.

Wish I could go home for lunch. I could technically make it home, but then I'd have to make a u-turn and head back to make it in time.
Does everybody bring lunch? I make dinner instead...just trying to find some out of office cheap lunch options.

If you are bringing pasta in from the night before make sure you have plenty sauce left on it as dry day old pasta is rank as hells fury, it's even ranker than k0nas naked body, bad times buddies bad times.

Lunch= bring your own
Getting out of the office= going down the street to a park (if you don't run the risk of getting mugged)
Avoid eating only salad early in the day without any carbs on the side; otherwise, you'll be fairly low on energy and more likely to binge later on in the day. Keep your dressing oil and vinegar, otherwise, you're most likely ingesting tons of sugar and/or fat.
I eat the same lunches everyday:
Lunch #1 at 11:30am - 1.5 cups homemade turkey chili
Lunch #2 at 2:30pm - basil chicken breast & .5 cup of green vegetable
It sounds boring, but I love it. I usually break this mold like once every 2 weeks and go get a cheesesteak or something else that is absolutely delicious.

I can't stand staying in the office all day (and eating a brow-bag lunch outside on the patio doesn't count).
I pretty much eat out for lunch every day. Sure it costs some cash, but it saves my sanity. I never do fast food though. Usually do some place that serves decent salad/sandwiches.
Often times, lunch is my biggest meal of the day, but i make up for it by having a light dinner...a lot of times just a pre-made salad from trader joe's or something.
That's just what works for me.

Don't German folk have a big lunch time meal yet a smaller evening meal, or did I dream this?.

I have a smaller lunch (since I'm in the office and I don't feel like going outside everyday), whereas supper is bigger because I'm at home in a more comfortable environment.

Eat whatever you want, just eat it in moderation. Oh and don't eat french fries. They will kill you!
Proper portions is sometimes the hardest thing to get used to.

My lunch these days pretty much just consists of a sandwich, a cereal bar, and I make up a greens+ drink. That's it. from 9-5. Then I just consume a decent amount of water throughout the day.

I'm with nocomply on this...spending a little dough saves me sanity and clears my head.
And GRAMME! Quiznos right under you? What do you eat there that won't make you sick and is somewhat healthy? I'm really liking these new flatbread salads...are they good for you?

grab you a turkey sandwich out like Subway, Quiznos, Just Fresh - and dont get mayo or cheese if your watching calories - instead do mustard and loads of veggies.

If I'm feeling a bit naughty I might pop round to the chinese and get a buffet box for £2.50. Proper tasty esp. when they do the bad assed breaded chicken things.
mmmmmmmmm bad assed breaded chicken things.

Just found this site. Pretty interesting. They don't really say whether its healthy or not, but they review a bunch of stuff.

cinco...
client lunches: always order a large salad [not the ones with fried things or gobs of cheese and eggs!] with a balsamic or oil/vinegar dressing on the side and maybe a side of lite soup or baked potato. hands off the bread, fatty. The goal is to eat as many raw veggies as possible, and add protein to keep you full. also, order dressing on the side.
fast food: at the mex joints, order things that are not fried and without the tortilla if possible. sharkey's and baja fresh have decent salady alternatives.
bring your lunch: you can buy a salad shaker or a small salad spinner to keep it from turning brown. add the dressing right before you eat it.
