I love Kevin Smith's story about heading down to join the protest against his movie Dogma. He brought a poster that read "Dogma is Shit" and ended up getting interviewed by a news anchor who didn't know who he was.

People believe what they are told.
The media tells us evolution is a most viable 'proof' - have you ever studied it from yourself? IF you read from the sources, the people who originally questioned/rejected the accepted age of the world at the time (6000), there is no substance (99.9% of the evidence is missing) for the millions of years of existance this world has supposedly had.
We are all subject to commonly accepted myths that are not true.
This book is based upon fantasy dressed up as truth.
Yeah it's just a book, but all it will do is entertain the mind (or not depending on how well it was done), and bring some new false beliefs.
Yay!
The world is going to end. and there will only be black & white.
No more grey. No more fences.

(May 18 06, 15:09)nope. just a conservationalist. and a liguist anthropolgisti dig this planet and over population is a real issue that catholocism especially, promotes overcrowding, like the world was made FOR humans.
furthermore, ever study the word 'religion'? it comes from latin root religare. i have seen two definitions to that verb root. one is To Bind, and the other is to tie fast, and another is to unite.
Ya Basta! freedom from religion. Freethinkers unite!

WTF?
I understand people get worked up over the media hype surrounding every blockbuster that comes out,
BUT - have you fuckers that are saying the movie is shite actually seen it - or are you reading and regurgitating a fucking critic's spin on this "controversial film based on the controversial book"?
Have your own opinion. Make up your own mind, you "freethinkers", and get at me when you write a book that dominates the conversation of the world.
And then have someone make a movie of it.

On the topic of bad writers, just read this on theonion.com:

A good friend of mine works for a PR firm downtown, for most all new movies she sets up pre-screenings for the press weeks/months before the movie comes out. So far I've seen most every movie a month or two before it's been released, going as far back as Spiderman.
Anyways, I saw this movie and it's boring, slow, and at it's most serious and suspensful moment the whole theater bursted out into laughter as it was so over the top rediculous.
In my opinion, the movie is a joke and it's hoping to make some money opening weekend from the media hype alone. It's bad though. The book was WAY better.

i think you have missed my tone smrz... read my previous posts.
i want to see the movie...
Ya Basta!
- highrise0
I am going to see this tonight and now I don't want to..arggg. I enjoyed the book in a of 'reads like a movie' kind of way. I fail to see how they can't make a good movie from the book, it was already a screen play.
- smrz0
I wasn't referring to you jaylarson.
I just used your word.
A little defensive, ay?
BTW, are you referring to the Mexican ¡Ya Basta!, or the Italian?
either way, you wanting to see this movie goes against your anti-capitalist movement, or your anti-establishment motives, whichever.
- jaylarson0
"BTW, are you referring to the Mexican ¡Ya Basta!, or the Italian?"
I didn't know there was an Italiano version. The saying mosdef has baggage with it (las zapatistas para ejemplo), i just meant to say enough already... ya basta sounds so much better...
i am unclear why this goes against my "motives"...
nothin like good discussion to whet the appetite no?

You can find out specifically about all of the errors regarding Christianity in the DaVinci Code, here:

Haha, I wonder how many 'errors' are in the Bible.
