Like next to Cardiff and Encinitas?

Please don't tell me this is going to be the new location for an MTV show about spoiled teenagers and fake relationships.

Just wondering what it's like if anyone lives there or knows someone who does.
What's the community like? Nice place? etc...

(Apr 21 06, 14:46)um....I'd rather not...if you get my drift...
How far is it from downtown SD?

Yeah its pretty sweet. I work in Encinitas, which is about 5 min away. A little community called Cadiff separates us.
Really nice area. The old highway 101 runs right along the coast and has lots of cool, independent shops. Personally, I like Cardiff and Enicinitas a little better than Solana. Solana Beach borders a community called Del Mar, which is where the older, more wealthy people live.
Solana through encinitas is one of the only places left with that true, old-school, vintage surf era feel. Hard to describe, but worth checking out one day if you're ever in SD.

You can take the coaster to downtown. Commuting down the 5 from north county is a death wish. Well..not that bad, but definitely sucks.
I acutally live in La Mesa and have to commute 30 miles to encinitas for work. Sucks, but I'm moving to pacific beach or ocean beach this summer.

solana is rad. its 1 town down from me in encinitas. swamis is about 5 mins up the road. i take the train to work in downtown sd everyday, its a nice commute.

No prob jevad. Glad to slack off at work anytime.
Swamis is VERY close to solana beach. It was sooooo epic back in the stroms aroud christmas. There was an article in transworld surf (i think) with a local who'd been surfing there since the 70s..and he said it was 35 ft easily. biggest he's ever seen there.
conclusion: you should move! I love it in SD. I've lived here all my life and hope keep it that way.

I used to work in solana beach as well, but I lived in PB and took the coaster every single day, I wrote a lot of tracks while on the coaster on my laptop.

What are some decent agencies around that I should look at?
