I nearly made a post about this. Those Birds of paradise are literally the funniest things i've ever seen. AMAZING. And that camera?! jeez.

I was learning to surf about 5 miles from where that shark was, not sure I'd have bothered if I'd seen the show first.

they used specially developed high density cameras for it which is the reason why they can zoom into such enormous flocks of birds etc without frightening them away, technology changing the ability to tell stories, it's nice to see.
it makes you feel like you've got a god's eye view on the planet.

rand, it's basically the terrestrial version of the blue planet that has started to screen here. the discovery channel will release it in the states eventually.
